Family Values
Let’s clear up a few things
“Family values” presupposes that there is a correct way to create or have a family.
In Massachusetts, we know there are infinite ways to have a family. Whether your family has one parent or three, the same gender or different, I will always fight for your family’s right to exist.
Constitutional Amendment(s)
I will fight to codify marriage protection for couples. I will pursue a constitutional amendment to ensure that the courts and a corrupt congress cannot take away fundamental rights.
And I will not stop at marriage equality. I will seek a constitutional amendment for reproductive rights. We must ensure access to family planning medicine, abortion, and gender affirming care.
Get religious ideas out of family law
I will fight to legally separate church and state. The first amendment protects the freedom of religion and also the freedom from religion. We need to shed this country of law created by religious fanatics. I will fight to overturn blue laws and reverse Project 2025-driven legislation.
I was raised Jewish and I understand what it feels like to be othered. The same is true about marriage or the right to self-identify. You cannot force your definition of marriage or identity on others. Self-realization requires support and is worthy of admiration. Intentionally calling someone by the wrong pronoun is rude and unnecessary. We can do small things to respect everyone in this country, such as normalizing the use of gender neutral language.
